On Christmas Eve, we had some of my family and our friends the Wilkins over for our traditional Christmas Eve celebration. We have lots of food, read Christmas books, listen to music, sing carols, and the final event: we reenact the Nativity. Here are the four girls: Kadence, Tayah, Maeli, and Haeli (left to right) in their Biblical garb!
Here's Mary (Kadence) riding the donkey (Elizabeth, somehow she always gets this role!) and Joseph (David, decked out in Japanese Biblical attire).
Haeli was one angel...
...who also wanted to ride the donkey! Tayah was the other angel and all the adults were shepherds while my father narrated from Luke 2.
Oh, what memories!
