A Fabulous Friday Full of Fantastic Fun

Fridays are a popular day in the Smith house, mostly because that's typically my day off. Kadence and Elizabeth were glad to have the ward's toddler play group here. A good group of kids (mostly girls; for some reason, our neighborhood's girl to boy ratio is roughly 112:1...must be the water!) came and had a ball. Kadence and I then had Daddy/Daughter time, going to a few stores. She was thrilled to buy Grandpa Smith's birthday present!

In the evening, I went to the baby blessing for a family in their ward. This is their second adopted son and what a special day for them to be sealed and then bless him. It's always a joy to participate in such choice experiences. Speaking of which, we were able to also go to the temple last night with one of our great friends in our ward as she received her endowment (that just seems like a long sentence!). We are so happy for her! There were a lot of friends from the ward there and we had a nice time visiting at the Wilkins' for ice cream afterward. Many thanks to Kara for watching the girls for us!
