Families: Isn't it about time?

This is what is all about: family. We had the Spring Creek 20th Ward conference today where we had wonderful talks by Bishop Hansen and the Stake Presidency. They focused on some prophecies made by President Eyring when our stake was created three and a half years ago. Most of these goals center around the family (plus, the ward family). The Stake Presidency's talks about strengthening marriages and families really hit home. I'm so grateful for my family. They are my everything!

It's amazing to see how the ward has grown. We started today with 692 members, averaging 444 in sacrament meeting. We have 100+ babies 0-2 and 180 in the Primary. It's a lot of work, but what a joy to be surrounded by many wonderful people. The inevitible ward split is on everyone's minds, and has been for months (quite the source of some interesting rumors :). It's bittersweet knowing we won't all be together for the long haul, but comforting knowing the Church continues to grow throughout the world, and in this particular plot of the vineyard. All's well in Zion!

So--I haven't been to your place since August...and I love that it's looking like a neighborhood now instead of a "work in progress". What a cute pic of your little family!
