This and That

Youth Conference continued over into Saturday and Sunday. We met for a huge breakfast at the Wilkins', followed by a day at a ropes course and a swim party at the Condies' pool. Many of the youth then hit the region dance that night. Although I wasn't able to go to those events, I heard they all had a blast.

Sunday finished up with a fireside. I showed a lot of a John Bytheway DVD, seen below, and shared some of my own thoughts with the youth.

Our youth are wonderful. They have so many talents and are full of the spirit. They are still works in progress, but aren't we all? Having worked with the YM/YW the past two years, I firmly believe in the statements Prophets have made about this generation. It's our job as leaders to help them tap into their own greatness!

Other than that, we've had a sick baby! Tayah came down with a virus--sores in her mouth, fever, a little cough, and some splotches on her body. Oh, and a few days of endless crying. Poor Elizabeth. We took her to the doctor yesterday and we're just to let it take its course. We hate seeing our girls suffer like this!
