Yesterday was a full day of meetings at church. We have such a wonderful ward, full of great friends and neighbors. It's humbling to watch their acts of service for each other. It's always a joy to be with them.
Elizabeth was able to teach a lesson in Young Women's. She says that it was boring, but I'm sure she hit a home run with her Laurels. She's been really busy getting New Beginnings ready, so that's consumed a lot of her time lately. I personally think she's a splendid example of what these YW should aspire to be!
Today has been a wonderful day. I was able to get a lot done at work, thanks to the total absence of distractions (too much to do, even if it's a holiday). We had a fun home evening, even if we had to encourage, prompt, and force (in that order) Kadence to join us for scriptures. Once she starts reading her verse, she does great...it's just getting her going that proves to be difficult.
On top of that, the Jazz finally won a road game. Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles!
Sorry for the boring entry. Here's a photo to reward you for making it to the end. Kadence was none too happy to have Tayah help greet her from her nap...
