Health is such a wonderful thing and as "they" say, you never know what you've got until it's gone. Earlier in the week, Kadence came down with quite the fever. She was so hot and groggy, but thankfully it lasted but a day...just enough time for me to catch it! It hasn't been the best of weeks for us, mostly for Elizabeth who took care of us all. Well, we're back in business and I couldn't be happier.
Dad and Mom Torgesen dropped by again for a few hours yesterday with the last remnants of their Houston belongings. Apparently, Kadence was quite the help as Dad unloaded a few things from the moving truck for Kara and Scott. It'll be wonderful to spend some extended time with them, not to mention the rest of the family, next month!
Things I look forward to today:
1- Mother Nature, bring on the snow (or at least in the mountains)!
2- Another Cougar thrashing in our Homecoming game vs. New Mexico
3- A day without a headache
4- A date with Elizabeth tonight!
