Japanese Art and a Gas Leak

I know, not the most creative title...and yet, you're here reading it! Yesterday, Elizabeth and the girls indluged me yet again for a trip to the BYU MOA (Museum of Art) for a Japanese wood block print exhibit. That may sound as exciting to most as a root canal, but it's something I've looked forward to. It's art that I studied both in my Japanese and Humanities classes. Here are a few examples that you've probably seen before:





We then had pizza, read scriptures and played games. Oh, we also had a gas leak! It was the second stake emergency preparation drill and we were taken out. It was a ward success as we found all 10 pseudo injuries. Our new Relief Society president volunteered to be the death victim...wonder if there's any coincidence there!.

One last note: the Jazz held Media Day yesterday. After a few long months, let's welcome the NBA season with open arms!
